July 2021 Market Statistics - Simcoe County

July 2021 housing market update is in for Barrie and surrounding communities of Simcoe County, and residential property sales recorded through Barrie and District Association of REALTORS® (BDAR) region show that residential home sales continue to represent a "Seller's Market". 
 
Home sales in July 2021 were down 30.2% compared to sales in 2020 (509 in July 2021 vs 729 in July 2020). The Benchmark Price for residential real estate sale in July 2021 was $733,900 - up 36.6% from July 2020.
